June through September witness a surge in visitors eager to explore the mountain’s historical relics, cloud-hunting, and bathing in the Thanh Long stream. In recent years, trekking has emerged as a popular choice for those seeking to uncover the raw beauty and breathe the fresh air of this enchanting destination.
According to local guide Duong Viet Anh, tourists often opt for a 2-day, 1-night cloud-hunting and stream-bathing tour. This immersive experience includes visits to the Di Lac Buddha statue, Van Linh Pagoda, and the Great Buddha Pagoda, along with cloud-hunting, bathing in the Thanh Long stream, and a homestay experience, complete with local specialties.

The highlight of the Mount Cam summer itinerary is, without a doubt, the Thanh Long stream.
With a height of over 250 meters and a length of 4.25 kilometers, the Thanh Long stream is recognized as the longest in An Giang province. During the dry season (December to April), the stream may run dry, but when the rains come, it transforms into a majestic, inviting sight as cool, green water rushes down from the rocks and cliffs.

Visitors have multiple options for exploring the Thanh Long stream. Older individuals and children can opt for local motorcycle taxis, while younger, adventurous souls may prefer to ride motorcycles themselves to navigate the tight turns and steep slopes leading down to the stream. Of course, there’s always the trekking option for those who relish the physical challenge.
As reported by An Giang newspaper, Mount Cam is home to renowned streams such as Thanh Long, O TuK Sa, and Thuy Liêm. The Thanh Long stream originates from various springs and the Thanh Long lake, with a capacity of approximately 255,000 cubic meters. Meanwhile, the Thuy Liêm stream flows from the Thuy Liêm lake, perched atop the mountain, boasting a capacity of nearly 300,000 cubic meters.
“At Thanh Long stream, visitors can immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere, connect with nature, and enjoy playful moments with friends and family,” shared Viet Anh. “On weekday mornings, when the crowd is thinner, photography enthusiasts can capture stunning images of this picturesque location.”

The An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center affirmed that the Mount Cam trekking activity, introduced in the last two years, has successfully drawn a significant number of tourists and athletes from far and wide.
