In addition to homestays, hotels, and resorts, Mai Chau offers a luxurious camping (glamping) experience that not many people know about. The glamping site is located in Chieng Chau commune, Mai Chau district, and features 8 bubble tents on a 4,000 sqm lawn by Mo Luong Lake, with rice fields in the backdrop.

Each tent has a unique dome design to withstand the cold and rain in winter, and is equipped with fans and air conditioning for the summer. The interior features wooden floors, beds, sofas, a clothes rack, and a window overlooking the lake. Mo Luong Lake and Mo Luong Cave, also known as the Army Cave, are located in front of the tents. Guests can sign up for a trekking tour of the cave or enjoy a dinner inside. Additionally, guests can wake up early to kayak on the lake or hold a BBQ or cocktail party on the lawn.

Witnessing the Chestnut Blossoms in Trung Khanh, Cao Bang

Trung Khanh district, about 60 km from Cao Bang city, is famous for its natural beauty and characteristic Northeast climate with four distinct seasons. The terrain here mainly consists of towering mountain ranges. Trung Khanh also boasts rivers, streams, valleys, and numerous scenic spots such as Ban Gioc Waterfall, Ngoum Ngao Cave, Co La Waterfall, and chestnut forests.

The Cao Bang chestnut trees can grow up to 10-16 meters tall, with old trees having a diameter of up to 0.5 meters and a wide canopy. These trees are planted according to a specific process and spacing on the slopes of hills 450-600 meters above sea level. In spring, visitors can admire the white and fragrant blossoms of the chestnut trees. If you visit during September-October, you will witness the harvest season. The unripe chestnut fruits resemble chôm chôm (rambutan) from the outside. Ripe chestnuts have a crack in their shell, and each shell contains 1-3 nuts.

Conquering Nam Me Waterfall in Tuyen Quang

Nam Me Waterfall, located in Khuon Ha commune, Lam Binh district, is approximately 4,000 meters long with 15 levels, cascading down from Sinh Long mountain to Gam River. The waterfall boasts abundant water all year round, making it beautiful in every season, especially during summer. Visitors can enjoy the fresh air and cool water here.

Surrounding Nam Me Waterfall are towering cliffs covered in moss and interspersed with ancient trees. Conquering the peak of Nam Me Waterfall is a challenging experience reserved for adventurous enthusiasts. The climbing route is about 6 km long, featuring rocky paths and 3-4 difficult climbing points with near-vertical walls that are about 10-15 meters high and covered in slippery moss. Therefore, those who wish to conquer Nam Me Waterfall should have the necessary experience and be equipped with proper safety gear. It is also recommended to travel in a group and have a guide accompany you.

For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, boat rides to the foot of the waterfall are available.
