1. Choose the right fabric

One of the reasons why your clothes always wrinkle when ironed or not is because you use cotton or linen clothes. To minimize this problem, it is best to choose clothes with wrinkle-free fabric.

2. Create space in your wardrobe

If you hang your clothes tightly together and make your wardrobe cramped with clothes, it can also cause your clothes to crease and you will have to iron them before wearing. Therefore, to remedy this situation, hang your clothes in a spacious and thin manner, always create space so that the clothes do not touch each other.

3. Air dry your clothes immediately after washing

Air drying your clothes immediately after washing will help prevent them from wrinkling. Remember to shake the clothes flat before hanging them up. In the case of using a washing machine, you need to spread the clothes out and use your hands to smooth out any creases before hanging them up as usual.

Leaving clothes in the washing machine for too long is also a cause of them becoming wrinkled and unable to straighten.

4. Use a damp cloth

Wash a clean towel, when the towel is still damp, press it onto your clothes and use your hands to smooth out the surface of the towel. Doing this for about 10 minutes, the outfit under the pressure of your hands will no longer be wrinkled. After this step, you can either dry the clothes or hang them up to dry and wear them immediately.

5. Flatten clothes with cold stone

Put wrinkled clothes together with a few stones in the washing machine and set the drying mode at high temperature for a few minutes. After about 10 minutes, the stones will melt and turn into steam, removing all wrinkles on your clothes.

6. Use hot water

In case the clothes have been flattened for drying but still wrinkled, you can use boiling water to steam the clothes about 20cm away. After a few minutes, the hot steam will stretch out the creases and your clothes will become flat as usual.

7. Utilize hot steam

If you find it inconvenient to boil water, you can hang your clothes in the bathroom near the shower. Then, you can take advantage of the hot steam while showering to flatten your clothes.

The problem is, you must be careful to prevent them from getting wet.

8. Use a hairdryer

When your iron is broken, you can use a hairdryer instead. A hairdryer not only helps you style your hair but also has the ability to remove wrinkles on clothes.

The process is similar to ironing, first, you need to dampen the entire garment. Then, use the hairdryer to dry it completely.

Note that you need to clean the hairdryer thoroughly, keep the clothes taut while doing so. After a few minutes, the wrinkles will gradually disappear. However, this method is not suitable for thin fabrics such as silk, lace.

9. Cold water and vinegar

Few people know that vinegar and water can naturally flatten clothes. Just mix 1 part vinegar with 3 parts water and pour this mixture into a spray bottle, then spray it on the wrinkled areas of the clothes, wait for it to dry completely, and you will see the wrinkles disappear.

With this trick, you don’t need a dryer, a washer with a built-in dryer, or an ironing board to have beautiful clothes like new.

This mixture not only helps clothes to be less wrinkled but also can whiten and soften the fabric effectively. However, the drawback of this method is that the smell of vinegar may linger on your clothes.

10. Use a pot

A metal pot can be used as a non-electric ironing substitute. You pour half-boiling water into the pot and then spray a little cold water on the clothes. Then use the bottom of the pot to press on the surface of the clothes, and the hot bottom of the pot will quickly remove all wrinkles.

Note that you should choose a clean metal pot without rust, otherwise your beautiful outfits will get dirty stains that are hard to remove.

11. Use a padded mat

An effective trick that allows you to flatten clothes without using an iron is to roll your clothes like you roll a piece of paper (remember to roll, not fold), then place it under your mattress for an hour.

This is a small trick and it takes quite a bit of time, so it’s best to consider carefully before using this method.

With these tips and tricks, it is hoped that women can fix their wrinkled clothes and save time daily.
