– Quail eggs: 30 eggs
– Chili, garlic
– Turnip: 1 piece

2. Steps to make marinated quail eggs
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
– After purchasing quail eggs, wash them with water and then cook them in boiling water. When the quail eggs are cooked, you can let them cool down and peel the shells off.
– Peel the garlic and thinly slice it.
– Wash the chili, remove the stem, and cut it diagonally into 3 pieces. Depending on your preference, you can use green or red chili.
– Peel off the outer layer of shallot, wash it and cut it into wedges.
– Remove any damaged or withered leaves from scallions, wash them, and cut them into sections.
Step 2: Boil the eggs
– Place the pot on the stove, add a 6x6cm piece of seaweed, ¼ bulb of shallot, scallions, turnip, 60ml soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and about 360ml of water.
– Then, add the peeled quail eggs and simmer them for about 3 minutes on medium heat.
Step 3: Prepare the soy sauce
– Remove the seaweed and continue boiling the pot of eggs for another 6 minutes.
– After that, remove the shallot, turnip, and scallions from the pot. Then add the sliced garlic and chili and cook for another 5 minutes before turning off the heat.
