Coconut Oil
Coconut oil contains many vitamins such as A, E, lauric acid, phenolic acid… that moisturize and prevent dryness for the skin.
Take a basin of warm water with a little salt to soak your feet in for about 15 minutes to soften the skin, especially the heels. Use a tool to clean the dead skin on the heels.
Afterward, rinse your feet with clean warm water, and use a soft clean towel to dry. Rub your two hands together to warm the palms, then apply coconut oil evenly on the palms and massage the heels for about 10 minutes to allow the coconut oil to penetrate. Perform this method three times a week. After 1-2 weeks of implementation, you will see softer heels.
Fresh Lime
Limes are an inexpensive fruit with many benefits. With a high content of vitamin C, fresh lime helps women to be beautiful inside and out. Lime has anti-inflammatory properties, so it can effectively treat cracks on the skin.
Method 1: Squeeze a lime and cut the lime peel into slices and put them in a basin of diluted warm water with salt. Soak your feet for about 10 minutes. During the soaking process, gently massage your feet, especially the heels and toes. Dry with a soft clean towel and then apply moisturizing cream. This method can be done daily.
Method 2: Cut a lime in half, squeeze out some juice. Use the squeezed half-lime to cover the heel, then wrap it tightly and leave it for 3 minutes. Afterward, rinse your feet with warm water, dry, and apply moisturizing cream.
Aloe Vera
Clean the aloe vera, remove the skin, and take the translucent part out into a bowl. Soak your feet in warm saltwater for about 10 minutes.
Dry with a soft, clean towel. Use the aloe vera to apply evenly on the heels and gently massage for about 10 minutes to allow the nutrients from the aloe vera to penetrate deeper into the skin. Rinse your feet with warm water again and apply moisturizing cream.
Snake Oil
Snake oil is extracted from snake fat and is widely used in the market. Snake oil has many uses such as assisting in burn treatment, acne treatment, hair removal, scar lightening, etc. Snake oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid, linoleic acid, glycerin palmiate, natural active ingredients, omega 3, and antibacterial components. Therefore, snake oil can penetrate the epidermis, promote the skin regeneration process, and improve the condition of peeling and cracking.
You need to soak your feet in warm water for about 1-2 minutes and dry with a soft towel. Apply snake oil evenly on the cracked skin, but avoid applying it on deep wounds. Raise your feet on a pillow to avoid getting the snake oil on the bedding. Put on socks and go to sleep. In the morning, simply rinse with clean warm water.
