Shea Butter Cream
A simple yet effective recipe, mix 3 tablespoons of shea butter with 2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil. Melt these ingredients together in the microwave and stir. Let it sit on the countertop for 5 to 10 minutes, then whisk until you get a smooth blend. Apply this cream to your scars 2-3 times a day.
Evening Primrose Cream
Take 1/3 cup of commercial aloe vera gel, 1 tablespoon of evening primrose oil, and 1 teaspoon of melted beeswax. Combine all the ingredients until well incorporated. Then, whisk until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Almond Cream
Blend half a cup of sweet almond oil with 2 tablespoons of melted beeswax. Optionally, add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Whip it together and store it in an airtight container. Use this cream on your face and body.
Cocoa Coffee Butter
Melt 2 tablespoons each of cocoa butter and shea butter, then add a few drops of coffee essential oil. Whisk until smooth and store in an airtight container. Use this as a body butter or specifically on scars.
Butter Cream
Heat 1/3 cup of butter with 1 teaspoon of beeswax. Add a few drops of primrose essential oil and whisk until fluffy. Use this as a body cream.
Aloe Vera Cream
For this super moisturizing and nourishing body butter, you’ll need 1/2 cup of commercial aloe vera gel and 1 cup of shea butter. Whisk all the ingredients together until blended and smooth. Use this as a body cream or apply it to your scars.
Coconut Cream
Combine 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of shea butter, and beeswax as needed. Melt it in the microwave and whisk until smooth. Use this product only for your body, as coconut oil can cause breakouts.
Honey
Apply honey to your scars and leave it on overnight. Wash it off in the morning. Alternatively, crush an aspirin pill, add honey and a few drops of water. Apply this mixture to your scars and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Dampen the area and gently scrub. Then, rinse it off. Beauty experts always advise against picking at pimples or blackheads with your fingernails, as it can lead to more breakouts.
Citrus Cream
Combine 2 tablespoons of melted shea butter with 1 tablespoon of melted beeswax. Add a few drops of lemon and orange essential oils. If you have any vitamin C serum, you can also add a few drops of that. Whisk it until fluffy and use it on your face and body.
