On the evening of September 29th, at the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 final, the crown was awarded to the beauty from Hanoi – Bui Quynh Hoa. However, there have been rumors that she bought the title and was “prepped” to compete in the pageant. In a recent press conference, Quynh Hoa officially addressed these rumors.

“As you may know, around February-March this year there was information that Quynh Hoa was chosen to compete in Miss Universe. At that time, I also clarified that I hadn’t received any information from the organizers or anyone else regarding my participation in Miss Universe. I also stated that I had no intention of joining any pageant at that time.”

And that’s why Quynh Hoa’s profile was published later than others.”
