Rice Water + Blended Cooked Rice

Rice water is rich in vitamins B1 and B6, zinc, magnesium, and iron, which help maintain soft and supple skin. It also contains inositol, a carbohydrate that aids in hydration and enhances skin elasticity.

Rinse the rice with water twice to ensure it’s free of dirt. Use the second rinse water for your skincare routine. You can cook the rinsed rice or use leftover cooked rice from the fridge. Blend the rice with the rice water to create a smooth paste.

After cleansing your face, apply the rice mask for 10-15 minutes, then rinse it off.

Rice water is infused with vitamins and minerals for soft, supple skin.

Flaxseeds

Flaxseeds are an excellent source of protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants. They help reduce inflammation and effectively combat acne breakouts.

Take a handful of flaxseeds and add them to a cup of water. Boil this mixture until it forms a thick gel-like consistency, which should take around 20-30 minutes. Strain the mixture, retaining the gel, and allow it to cool. Apply this gel to your skin and leave it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing your face with water.

Chia Seeds and Unsweetened Milk

Chia seeds are packed with nutrients, vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, linoleic acid, and alfa-linolenic acid. They help prevent skin issues and effectively treat pigmentation, while also providing skin-lightening and moisturizing effects.

Take 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and soak them in unsweetened milk for 30 minutes, allowing the seeds to plump up. Blend this mixture, adding a little more milk if needed, to create a smooth paste for your face mask. Apply it to your face for 20-30 minutes, then rinse with water.

Chia seeds are nutrient-rich and help prevent skin problems.

Aloe Vera and Egg White

This mask helps minimize enlarged pores and reduces blackheads and whiteheads, especially in the T-zone area. It also has oil-controlling and skin-soothing properties, making it an effective and affordable addition to your skincare routine.

Prepare some aloe vera gel, or simply use an egg white. If using gel, mix it with the egg white. Apply this mixture to your T-zone and areas with enlarged pores for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. This mask effectively controls oil and soothes the skin.

Rice Water and Cucumber

A rice water and cucumber face mask provides additional hydration to your skin. Besides moisturizing, cucumber and rice water also soothe and calm irritated skin.

Rinse a bowl of rice twice to obtain clean rice water. Slice a cucumber into thin pieces after cleaning it with salted water. Soak the cucumber slices in rice water for 20-30 minutes. Apply the soaked cucumber slices to your face and leave them on for 20-30 minutes.
