Preventing dry and frizzy hair
– Avoid washing your hair too much or too little:
You should wash your hair only twice a week (for dry hair and scalp or normal hair, and use hair conditioner); three times a week (for oily hair and scalp, and limit the use of hair conditioner). Do not brush your hair before washing, and avoid scratching your scalp.
– It is advisable to use gentle shampoos with natural ingredients, or shampoos specifically designed for dry frizzy hair, as they contain fewer chemicals and are beneficial for your hair. It is recommended to use conditioner after shampooing to moisturize, protect the cuticle and retain the natural oils of your hair.
– Limit the use of chemicals and heat on your hair.
– Limit straightening, curling, dyeing… since chemicals are used when styling your hair, which make your hair drier and more prone to split ends.
– Wear a hat when going out in the sun or wind.
– Trim your hair regularly to remove dry and split ends.
