After days of rainfall, Hanoi now feels refreshed and rejuvenated, boasting a cool and crisp atmosphere like never before. With ideal temperatures ranging from 23-25 degrees Celsius, many locals and tourists alike took to the streets to enjoy the pleasant weather, even on a Monday.
Ho Guom (Hoan Kiem Lake) was a popular destination this morning, as a large crowd of tourists strolled along the walking street, capturing memorable moments in the capital.
Taking photos with the Turtle Tower at Ho Guom is a must-do activity for youngsters.
Many couples seized the opportunity to relish the beautiful weather in Hanoi.
Nguyen Thi To Uyen shared, “Due to the recent storms and continuous rain in Hanoi, we couldn’t go out much. But today, we noticed the fantastic weather, and my best friend and I decided to take a walk around the capital, soaking in the fresh air and capturing memorable moments.”
The ‘muse’ also took advantage of the good weather to go on a photoshoot.
“The weather in Hanoi has been unpredictable lately, with heavy rain and scorching sun. It’s been over two weeks since we last visited Ho Guom. Today, we’re back to chat and people-watch,” shared Nguyen Thi Dao from Hoan Kiem district.
Cyclists and pedicab passengers enjoyed the cool breeze while exploring the city.
Coffee shops and lemon tea stalls were popular hangouts for youngsters today.
“I noticed a fallen tree at the Cathedral during the storm, but everything looks fine now,” shared Thuy Chi from Cau Giay district.
Some families also took the opportunity to spend quality time together outdoors.
According to the Meteorological and Hydrological Center, today, September 23, Hanoi experienced occasional light rain in the early morning, but the day remained mostly dry. The city enjoyed cool temperatures, with lows ranging from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.
Also this morning, from 7:00 to 8:30 AM, Tien Phong newspaper recorded light rain and traffic congestion in the capital. By 9:00 AM, the rain stopped, and the weather turned pleasant.
