Step 1 Marinate the pork belly
Prepare the marinade for the pork belly as follows: 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons peanut oil, 1 tablespoon minced purple onion, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon chicken powder, 1/2 teaspoon MSG. Mix the marinade well.
Marinate the pork belly with the marinade, evenly coat the pork belly with the sauce. Marinate for about 15 – 30 minutes to allow the flavors to soak into the meat.
Step 2 Blanch the vegetables
Bring a pot of water to boil, add 1 tablespoon chicken powder. Once the water is boiling, add asparagus, sweet corn, and cherry tomatoes.
Step 3 Grilling the meat – 1st round
Once the meat is marinated, place it on an air fryer and grill for about 15 minutes at 160°C.
Step 4 Prepare the dipping sauce
In a bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper, 1/3 teaspoon chicken powder, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons water, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1/2 tablespoon chili sauce, 1 tablespoon tomato sauce. Stir well and pour the mixture into a saucepan, simmer until boiling.
Step 5 Grilling the meat – 2nd round
Remove the meat from the air fryer, brush with 1 layer of cooking oil and sprinkle with basil leaves for fragrance. Add the blanched vegetables. Grill the meat for the 2nd round at 160°C for 15 minutes.
Step 6 Finishing
Your dish is now complete. Remove the meat and cut into bite-sized pieces. Arrange the meat on a plate along with the grilled vegetables and enjoy!
