Phú Quý, a small island in the province of Binh Thuan, has long been a captivating tourist destination, enchanting visitors with its pristine and serene beauty.

With its crystal-clear beaches, fine white sand, and rich marine ecosystem, many tourists fondly liken Phu Quy Island to a “gem” in the East Sea.

Behold the breathtaking scenery.

After a journey of about 56 nautical miles from the mainland to Phu Quy Island, tourists are delighted to immerse themselves in the refreshing water and rejuvenate their bodies. They also get to visit famous landmarks such as the solitary tree, Doc Phuot, Cao Cat Mountain, Phu Quy flagpole, and most importantly, indulge in the freshest seafood delicacies.

What makes this island even more alluring to tourists is the opportunity to discover the unique cultural beauty of the local fishermen and their simple and peaceful lives. Spending slow days on this island, visitors can enjoy the fresh air and find moments of tranquility for their souls.

Le Viet Long, who spent 4 days and 5 nights in Phu Quy, felt that the island was indeed a haven of peace for those who love to play hide-and-seek.

“What impressed me the most about this place was the free and easy lifestyle, with a touch of liberality that is rarely found elsewhere in Vietnam. On our yellow Cub motorcycle, we ventured through the alleys and paths of the island. Whenever we came across a beautiful spot, we would stop to explore, sit down, and immerse ourselves in nature, connecting with the locals and engaging in casual conversations,” shared the 9x guy from Hanoi.

Moments of relaxation on the island.

Earlier, in the first days of August, before the rainy season in Phu Quy, Long and his friends decided to put their work on hold and head to the island to immerse themselves in the sea, the sun, and the lives of the fishermen.

Reaching Phu Quy Island is quite a journey for those coming from the north. Long flew from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, then traveled by car to Phan Thiet Port. From there, they took a high-speed boat to the beautiful island.

Upon arrival, all the fatigue from the journey seemed to melt away as they were greeted by the welcoming climate, stunning scenery, and friendly locals. Everything was just perfect—the people were kind and enthusiastic…

“Especially, the owners of Pink Sea Villa were waiting for us at the port and kindly took us to our ‘home’. Throughout our stay, they took care of us and supported us in every way. The villa near the port was quite new, clean, had a chill sea view, and was fully equipped,” shared Viet Long.

Viet Long and his friends enjoyed visiting the solitary tree – the seawall, the fishing village of Tam Thanh “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”, and 195 Glamping to witness the sunset.

They also checked out Ganh Hang at Khe Sung Suong, the Infinite Lake, Mo Thay, and a miniature “Roman Colosseum”, which left them with unforgettable emotions. They visited Linh Son Pagoda, Cao Cat Mountain, and An Tiêm Beach Cafe to catch the sunset.

On the third day, they explored Doc Phuot, witnessed the sunrise at the Phu Quy flagpole, stopped by the wind farm on Chi Nen Street, dived to admire the coral reefs at Hon Tranh – Bai Can, and visited Bai Nho. On the last day, they went to Trieu Duong Bay before bidding farewell to the island.

For a more fulfilling experience, Viet Long suggested that visitors always bring their swimwear so they can enjoy the beach at any time. The most beautiful moments on the island are sunrise and sunset, so it’s best to wake up early to explore and then take a nap from 10 am to 3 pm before continuing the adventure. Additionally, when moving around the island, renting a motorbike is a great option, and the cute bikes add to the fun.

Tourists are delighted to find quality photo spots.
