Prevent Soap from Melting
When using soap, we often have an additional small box to store it in. After each use, if you put the soap directly into the storage box, it quickly dissolves due to water buildup.
You can tie two elastic bands above the soap storage box. By doing so, the used soap will be placed on top of the rubber band and the water will drain down, preventing the soap from melting and wasting.
Adjust the Liquid Flow in Squeeze Bottles
Nowadays, there are many types of shower gel and shampoo packaged in convenient squeeze bottles with nozzles. This design allows you to easily dispense the liquid from the bottle. However, there are some cases where the liquid splashes out when you press the nozzle.
To solve this problem, you can tie a string around the squeeze tube of the liquid bottle. By doing so, the height of the tube can be shortened. Each time you press the tube, less liquid will be dispensed, allowing you to easily control the amount of liquid coming out.
Resolve the Issue of Oversized Waist
In some individuals, even a slight increase in food intake will result in weight gain, and naturally, the belly will become considerably larger. If the belly becomes fatty, the pants you used to wear will no longer fit, and it will be difficult to zip them up.
A simple solution is to use two elastic bands and thread them through the open buttonhole of the waistband, then fasten them on the button of the pants.
Doing so will allow you to easily fasten and unfasten the button, solving the problem of wearing ill-fitting pants when gaining weight and avoiding them from slipping down. In addition, it saves you from spending money to buy new pants.
Collect Hair in the Bathroom
When washing hair in the bathroom, you may encounter the problem of excessive hair loss. Hair will be scattered all over the bathroom floor and can even cause clogged drains if you don’t collect it properly.
A simple way to clean up the hair on the bathroom floor is to prepare a few elastic bands. Thread the elastic bands onto slippers and wear the slippers while walking on the bathroom floor. By doing so, you will collect the remaining hair on the floor as you move, as the hair will get caught under the slipper soles and get stuck on the elastic bands. At this point, you just need to remove the bands and put the hair in the trash bin.
Conveniently Separate Plastic Wrap
Sometimes, it can be difficult to find the starting point of a plastic wrap after it tears. An alternative solution is to place a string on the sticking part of the plastic wrap, hold the string, and repeatedly twist it left and right to rub against the sticky part. This will help you easily find the starting point of the plastic wrap.
