How to perfectly braise the fish

Step 1:

– Heat a pot on the stove with 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and cook over low heat until the sugar turns caramel color, then add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. After that, add the fish sauce and bring to a boil.

– Turn off the heat and place the fish in the pot, then pour the delicious fish sauce over the fish (if you prefer a milder taste, reduce the fish sauce and add some tea water instead. Tea water helps eliminate the fishy smell and make the fish firmer).

If using a pressure cooker, cook under the pressure mode for 30 minutes, then open the lid, switch to the rice cooking mode, and cook until the liquid evaporates, then turn off the heat.
