1 cleaned chicken, 1 piece of ginger, half a cup of white wine (or vinegar, salt), chicken broth powder, cooking oil, spring onions

Method for steaming delicious chicken without using water with wine and salt

Step 1: First, take the spices like half a piece of ginger crushed, the remaining piece finely chopped, mixed with white wine and rubbed on the chicken, marinate for 30 minutes to eliminate the smell of the chicken and make the dish more flavorful and attractive. If there is no wine, you can rub the chicken several times with a mixture of salt and vinegar in a 2:1 ratio, then rinse with clean water, rub chicken broth powder on the chicken and let it sit for about 2 hours for the flavors to infuse.

Step 2: Next, add a little cooking oil to the bottom of the electric rice cooker pot, spread it evenly to cover the bottom of the pot. Place thinly sliced ginger and spring onions on the bottom, place the chicken on top, then pour a cup of cooking wine over it, cover it and press the cook button. 1 cleaned chicken, 1/2 cup of salt, 1 lime leaves, 5-6 lemongrass stalks, white wine

Procedure:

Step 1: First, use wine and salt to rub the chicken then rinse with clean water to remove any odor.

Step 2: Then, take the lemongrass and pound it, cut it into long pieces about the length of a finger joint. Then, use a large pot that fits the chicken, spread a thin layer of salt on the bottom of the pot, then spread lemongrass and lime leaves to cover the salt, put some lime leaves and lemongrass inside the chicken. By doing this, the chicken, when cooked, will be extremely fragrant and flavorful, not bland like when boiled in ordinary water.

Step 3: Next, place the chicken in the pot, heat it on medium heat for a few minutes, when the steam rises, reduce the heat and simmer for another 40-50 minutes. With this method, you don’t need to flip the chicken during the cooking process.

Step 3: Next, line the bottom of a pot with silver paper to prevent burning, sprinkle a thin layer of salt, then half of the lemongrass, mugwort, and lime leaves, stuff the other half into the chicken’s cavity. Place the chicken in the pot, turn the heat on high, when there is steam, reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Then, turn off the heat, let it sit for another 10 minutes, then remove the chicken and let it cool before chopping. With this method of steaming chicken, you will enjoy a sweet and unforgettable taste that will make you want to keep eating.
