20g cornstarch

200ml chocolate whipping cream

100ml whipping cream

1/2 teaspoon salt

How to make Christmas tree cake

Step 1: Make the cake base

Melt the butter in the microwave or in a double boiler. Add sugar, milk, and vegetable oil and mix well.

Separate the egg whites and yolks, then add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and beat until foamy. Add tartar powder and continue beating until the mixture is fluffy and has peaks.

Mix the egg yolk and butter mixture into the egg white bowl and whisk evenly. Add flour to the bowl and mix well, making sure to mix in one direction only.

Step 2: Bake the cake

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes before baking. Line the mold with parchment paper, then pour the batter into the mold and gently tap it to remove any air bubbles. Bake at 170 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes.

Step 3: Shape the cake

Check if the cake is cooked by inserting a toothpick into it. If it doesn’t stick to the toothpick, the cake is done. Let the cake cool for 5 minutes, then roll it up to shape the cake.

After the cake is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes, then roll it up to shape the cake. Let the cake cool completely.

Step 4: Decorate the cake to create the tree shape

Whip the chocolate whipping cream and spread it on the cake when the cake has cooled. To create the tree bark effect, you can use a fork to create lines on the cake, resembling a tree trunk, then decorate as desired. Finally, roll up the cake to shape the tree.
