2 How to Make Pineapple Tea
Step 1 Prepare the Pineapple
Peel and chop the pineapple into small pieces, removing the core.

Step 2 Soak the Pineapple in Sugar
In a large bowl, combine the pineapple with 250g of rock sugar. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to allow the pineapple to release its juices and create a syrup.

Step 3 Cook the Pineapple Syrup
Transfer the pineapple and syrup to a saucepan and cook over medium heat. Stir continuously and skim off any foam that forms on the surface. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to preserve the pineapple. Cook until the pineapple turns translucent and the syrup thickens.

Step 4 Brew the Tea
Place a tea bag in a cup and pour in about 300ml of boiling water. Let it steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bag.

Step 5 Mix the Tea and Pineapple
In a separate cup, muddle 2 pieces of fresh pineapple. Add 50ml of brewed tea, 30ml of pineapple syrup, and 2 tablespoons of the cooked pineapple. Stir well. Finally, add ice cubes and some of the cooked pineapple on top.
