Step 1: Prepare and marinate the shrimp
After purchasing the tiger prawns, clean them, peel the shell off the body, leaving the tail and head intact for a more appealing presentation.
To remove the intestine, make a cut between the head and the abdomen, then pull out the black vein from the shrimp’s body. Rinse the shrimp with salted water to eliminate any fishy odor and enhance the crispness of the meat.
Next, season the shrimp with 1 teaspoon each of MSG and seasoning powder, a pinch of ground pepper, half a teaspoon each of salt and chili powder, and mix well to ensure the shrimp absorbs the flavors.
Step 2: Prepare the batter
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl. Place the crispy flour and breadcrumbs in two separate containers.
After marinating the shrimp, coat each one evenly with the crispy flour, then dip it in the egg mixture, and finally, generously cover it with breadcrumbs for added crispness.
