If you have a hobby of planting trees to create more greenery in your home, you should not miss a very interesting way to water plants to achieve optimal results. Plants, like humans, need to be watered. However, if you love gardening but are too busy and worried that you don’t have enough time to water the plants, don’t worry, you can create your own automatic watering system from discarded items in your home.

To create this watering system, you will need the following items:

– 4 plastic bottles used for milk
– 1 plastic bottle for spring water or soft drinks
– 1 large plastic tray for planting
– Soil for planting
– Drilling tools and plastic cutting tools

Here is how you can create the watering system:

1. Clean 4 milk bottles and drill many small holes on one side of each bottle using a pen as a guide. Each bottle should have about 10 to 15 holes.

2. On one side of the milk box, drill a large hole with the mouth of the mineral water bottle. This hole will be used to connect the 4 milk bottles together, creating an irrigation system for the plants.

3. On the next side of the bottle that was drilled with a large round hole, draw a small rectangle and then use a knife to cut along the shape, creating a small groove on the bottle. This groove will allow water from the bottom of the bottle to enter the plant pot.

4. Drill another large hole on one of the 4 plastic bottles (do not drill the remaining 3 bottles).

5. Cut the bottom of the plastic bottle to create a funnel-like device.

6. Fit the mouth of the mineral water bottle into the drilled hole and ensure it fits tightly. Then, connect the 4 milk bottles together as shown.

7. On the 4 sides of the plant pot, drill 3 small holes on each side. These holes will allow excess water to escape in case of heavy rain, preventing the plants from drowning.

Once you have completed the watering system, start installing it. First, put a thin layer of soil into the pot and then place the 4 connected milk bottles into the pot. Add more soil to the pot, leaving a few centimeters of space between the soil and the plastic body. Now you can plant in this pot, such as tomatoes, peppers, or watermelons. To water the plants, simply pour water from the raised plastic bottle onto the soil surface. You can also check the amount of water in the container through the hole to ensure it is enough.

This watering system allows you to plant without worrying about forgetting to water the plants. Occasionally, check the amount of water in the container and add more if needed. This method is also suitable when you are away from home for a few days.
