The first principle of cleaning tile floors is to clean up stains immediately when they appear, avoid letting them dry and clump. If left for a long time, these stains can eat into the floor material, making them difficult to clean and even scratching the floor.
The next principle is to always wet the tile with clean water before using cleaning tips and wipe again after cleaning.
How to clean kitchen floors
– To remove greasy areas, do not wipe with water first. Instead, use flour or rice powder to absorb the grease. Then, use a dry brush to scrub off the powder, sweep it away, and clean with a normal floor cleaner.
– For dull rust stains, pour white vinegar on them and scrub with a cloth. For stubborn stains, use a lemon slice to rub vigorously before wiping clean.

Removing tile stains (outdoor/bathroom floors)
– For tile stains caused by stagnant water, sprinkle kitchen ash on the stains, pour a little water, and gently rub. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then use a brush to scrub vigorously and rinse normally. For light stains, add a little salt to the floor cleaner, let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then wipe clean.
– For dirt stuck in the gaps between tiles or on porcelain surfaces, use a mixture of lime paste and hydrogen peroxide to scrub.
– For polished stone tiles, use hydrogen peroxide first, then polish with a polishing agent.
– For terracotta tiles and glazed tiles, crush raw potatoes, put them in a cloth bag, and rub on the stains. Then clean with kerosene.
– For polished or cement floors, use a mixture of salt, vinegar, and soda water (mineral water) to scrub. This method also works for porcelain surfaces and stubborn dirt that is difficult to clean.

– If chewing gum sticks to the floor, scrape it off and use tape to remove any remaining gum.
– For dull rust stains, pour white vinegar on them and scrub with a cloth. For stubborn stains, use a lemon slice to rub vigorously before wiping clean.
– For plastic, paint, or wax, use a cloth soaked in gasoline to scrub. Wipe with scented floor cleaner to remove the gasoline smell.
– If the house floor is moldy and mossy, spread lime water on the affected areas and let it soak overnight. Then scrub with a hard brush or broom.
– Dirty corners of the house, under the stairs, under cabinets, or in areas prone to moisture, mold, and bacteria can be cleaned with toothpaste and wiped thoroughly with alcohol. Sprinkling a thin layer of lime powder on the floor surface can help prevent dirt buildup in these areas.
– Scratches caused by high heels or moving heavy objects on shiny tile floors can be removed with an eraser. For larger areas, specialized floor cleaner can be used.
– After cleaning the scratches, let the floor dry and rub with candle wax for a longer-lasting clean and beautiful finish.
Old dull tile floors can be treated by cleaning the house with water, letting it dry, and then using a mixture of flour, rice powder, and cooking oil to scrub for shine. After a few hours, wipe with normal floor cleaner. This method works for tiled floors, stone tiles, and granite surfaces.
