According to an article by Daniel Ally, many people are wealthy but do not have the ability to enjoy their wealth. Some work long hours every week and completely neglect their family. Others, on the other hand, are too perfectionist in their family duties and never busy with their work. Clearly, the balance factor helps you achieve wealth and enjoy it.
If you are looking for a fulfilling life both materially and spiritually, here are 5 ways that can help you achieve this.
1. Apply the mindset of a producer
You need to change from being a consumer to being a producer. Here are some examples: a consumer eats pizza, a producer makes pizza; a consumer watches movies, a producer makes movies; a consumer looks for a job, a producer provides jobs…
Every millionaire in the world is a producer, and only producers become wealthy. Although producers still have to consume to some extent, this is not their main goal. Instead of looking for the next meal, they care more about providing the next meal for others, knowing that they also have a chance to eat while doing this work.
While producers are performing heart surgeries, writing books, or building skyscrapers, they have also learned how to produce products and help many people around them. If you observe closely, you will see that all millionaires provide some kind of product or service to millions of people.
2. Know the amount of money you earn daily
How much is your day worth? Have you calculated how much money you make every day? Is it $100, $500, or $1,000? Each person has about 250 working days a year, and if you earn $4,000 per day, you will have millions of dollars a year.
If you are earning $100 per day, you should try to double this number. “For example, when I started my business, I earned $200 per day. I was not satisfied with that number and started looking for ways to improve myself for my customers, which helped me significantly increase my income,” wrote Daniel Ally. Think about how you can make more money, whether it’s calling 20 customers instead of just 10, or finding ways to take care of more children if you are doing babysitting jobs.
3. Sacrifice everything
Many people are afraid to sacrifice because they think they will lose something. A single mother does not buy a $20 book that could help her earn an additional $20,000. She becomes a cost-conscious person but still happily buys toys for her children.
Before being wealthy, you have to be poor. Apart from those who are lucky enough to win the lottery or inherit a fortune, most people have to pay a price and sacrifice many things. You must be able to cope with the worst thing to achieve the best thing. There will be many times in your life when you have to put aside your satisfaction to focus on a bigger goal.
To be able to sacrifice, ask yourself two questions: “What is the worst thing that can happen if I accept this risk?” and “What is the best thing that can come if I accept this risk?”. Usually, you will see that the only reason that stops you, that prevents you from taking risks, is money. However, you must be willing to sacrifice everything to become rich, even your last dollar.
4. Only engage in wealth-building activities
“When I was a teenager, I used to play basketball with negative people in negative places. I constantly witnessed smoking, swearing, and many other disrespectful behaviors. Although I didn’t follow suit, I was partly a product of the living environment and this had a great impact on my performance in life,” Daniel Ally wrote.
Many people endure such negative conditions. They do not realize the impact of such negative issues on their lives. “Instead of playing basketball, I started going to luxury homes and selling cars. This changed my life,” Daniel Ally shared.
5. Use your talents
Everyone has talents. Some are lucky to have many talents, while others have only one. However, you still need to recognize your special ability, nurture and develop it by standing with those who can support you. Seek out your talent, gift, and what you do best.
