Cinnamon leaves:

Peppermint + salt solution:

You can create a cockroach repellent solution using natural materials such as peppermint and salt. Specifically, you can add peppermint essential oil to saltwater or white vinegar solution to create a cockroach repellent solution. Simply spray this solution in areas where cockroaches frequent, as they dislike the smell of peppermint and will immediately leave the area.

Onions:

Cockroaches are repelled by the strong smell of onions. You can thinly slice onions and place them in areas with a high cockroach population, and wait to see the results.

Using lemon, orange, or lime:

Another small tip is to add a little lemon juice to cleaning water, kitchen surfaces, or any objects. This not only helps disinfect but also effectively repels cockroaches. Not only lemon juice, but lemon peels or orange peels also have the same effect.

You can keep the peels of lemon, orange, or lime, then dry them and place them in areas where cockroaches often infest, such as corners of the house, in closets, or burn the peels as a natural essential oil to effectively repel cockroaches.

Using baking soda:

One of the effective and cost-saving ways to repel cockroaches is to use baking soda or baking powder. Mix baking soda with a bit of flour or sugar to attract cockroaches to eat, then the cockroaches will swell and die due to the reaction with baking soda.
