Delete applications using Launchpad
Launchpad in macOS functions similarly to the Menu bar. This is where all the installed applications on a Mac computer are located.
To open Launchpad, press the F4 key or click on the silver rocket icon on the Dock. Then hold down the left mouse button on the app you want to delete and click on the X mark to delete. Finally, just confirm the deletion.
Delete applications using Finder
Finder in macOS is where users store personal files and documents.
To delete an app using Finder, first go to Finder and select Applications. Next, find and hover over the app you want to delete. Right-click or use a two-finger tap if using a trackpad. Then choose Move to Trash.
Then go to the Trash icon in the bottom corner of the toolbar and find the app you just deleted. Right-click and choose Empty Trash to complete the deletion immediately.
