3. Cleaning the microwave with baking soda
Cleaning the microwave with baking soda is similar to cleaning it with vinegar or lemon.
Ingredients: Baking soda, 1 clean cloth, microwave-safe bowl, warm water.
Instructions:
– Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to a bowl of warm water and mix well.
– Place the bowl in the microwave and microwave on high for 3-5 minutes until the microwave is filled with steam.
– Leave the mixture in the microwave for 30 minutes after turning it off to allow the steam to spread.
– Use a dry cloth to wipe and clean thoroughly.
Alternatively, you can sprinkle baking soda inside the microwave (remove the rotating plate first) and soak a cloth in warm water to scrub the microwave with the baking soda mixture. Then, use another clean cloth to wipe the microwave clean.
