Have you ever been frustrated by having too many mice in your house? Have you ever worried about the fast reproduction of mice affecting the quality of your family’s life? Mice are not only fast-growing rodents, but they also live in tight, damp, and moldy places, making them dirty and polluted. Moreover, mice are the main cause of spreading dangerous diseases to humans, typical of which is the plague.
Furthermore, in Vietnam, with its humid climate, it provides favorable conditions for the development of mice, so most people are troubled by the mouse problem. Usually, we use traps like mouse traps, snap traps, or cage traps. However, these methods only help us catch a small number of mice, which can be very dangerous for families with young children. Therefore, recently, there are many types of biological mouse traps that many households apply and prefer.
Engine oil is commonly used to repair fans, motorcycles, and in general, electrical and mechanical equipment in the house, so it is easy to find.
Preparation:
– 1 large tablespoon of engine oil or machine oil
– 1 small paintbrush
– Rice, peanuts, or beans
– Peanut oil, sesame oil, or peanut oil
Instructions:
Step 1: Heat a pan, add rice, peanuts, or beans, any dried seeds available at home. Put them into the hot pan, roast them evenly and then turn off the stove to let them cool.
Step 2: After the roasted rice and peanuts have cooled, mix it with a small amount of peanut oil, sesame oil, or peanut oil to create an attractive aroma for the mice. Then add all of the machine oil, engine oil to the mixture and mix it well to make the mixture sticky.
Step 3: Leave the mixture where mice often come to. At the same time, use the paintbrush to brush a line of machine oil, engine oil on the ground surface to make the mice’s feet stick to the oil.
According to the characteristics of mice, when living in a group, they often smell and lick each other’s backs, so when they lick the machine oil, engine oil, which has a bitter and “sticky” characteristic, they will be scared and run away, not even one mouse remains. If they eat peanuts soaked in machine oil, they will also find it bitter, so they will not dare to come back for “stealing” anymore.
Mothers should try these methods right away because they are really effective!
According to Xe và thể thao
Traditional traps like snap traps or cage traps can be dangerous for young children and only catch a small number of mice. This biological method utilizes the natural aversion mice have to certain tastes and textures, effectively scaring them away without harm. It’s also a preferred method in Vietnam due to the humid climate, which often leads to more mice infestations.
Engine and machine oil have a bitter taste and sticky texture, which mice find unpleasant. When mixed with roasted rice or peanuts, the aroma will attract them, but the bitter taste will deter them from returning. This method also plays on the social behavior of mice; when they lick each other’s backs, they’ll taste the oil and be scared away.
Mice reproduce quickly and live in damp, moldy places, making them dirty and potential carriers of dangerous diseases like the plague. They can negatively impact the quality of life for your family, especially with young children, so it’s important to address the issue promptly and effectively.
