According to the latest information as of July 1, 2021, the procedure for removal from household registration when moving to a new house is governed by the 2020 Residence Law. This procedure is referred to as permanent residence registration at a new place of residence.

According to Article 22 of the 2020 Residence Law, individuals registering for permanent residence must submit their documents to the local police station in their area of residence.
