2 Submission Address
Power Company Office
You can go directly to the power company office where you intend to register for electricity use, or you can send the documents by post.
If you register to purchase electricity online on the Customer Care website of the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Corporation, you can select the option to register for electricity purchase, choose the request for residential electricity, and then submit your request. After that, you need to fill in the required information and upload images of the requested documents. Once you have successfully submitted your application, an EVN staff member will contact you to complete the process.

3 Time Frame for Processing the Application
Processing the application for residential electricity purchase
If you are registering to purchase electricity from the low-voltage grid and have met all the requirements as stipulated, the processing time will be no more than three working days for urban areas (cities, towns, and townships) and no more than five working days for rural areas. In cases where a new pole needs to be erected or underground cables and current transformers need to be installed, the processing time will be no more than seven working days.
If you are registering to purchase residential electricity from the point of connection to the medium-voltage grid to the point of use and have met all the requirements as stipulated, the processing time will be no more than seven working days.
