Household trash cans can be a hassle to keep clean, especially if the bag doesn’t fit snugly inside. But don’t worry, with a few simple tools, we can easily solve this problem.

Here’s what you’ll need:

+ A disposable chopstick

+ A knife, double-sided tape, or hot glue

Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Take your disposable chopstick and cut it into a few short sections with a knife.

Note: Be sure to cut the chopstick to the appropriate length. We will use two short sections to create handles on either side of the trash can, making it easier to manage the trash bag.

Step 2: Use hot glue to attach the chopstick sections to the rim of your trash can. If you don’t have hot glue, double-sided tape or regular glue will also do the trick.

Step 3: Place a small trash bag inside the can and hang the bag’s handles on the chopstick sections. This will prevent the bag from slipping down and keep your trash can clean.

With this simple hack, you can easily manage a small bag in a large trash can. If you have spare plastic bottles, you can cut them in half and melt the edges with a lighter to create a safe and painless alternative. Use hot glue or transparent glue to attach it to the can, avoiding the use of double-sided tape.

Besides creating trash bags, there are other creative ways to recycle plastic bags and contribute to a greener environment. By reducing pollution, waste, and energy consumption, we can promote sustainable development in our society.

Many households are already recycling plastic bags into plant pots and seedling trays, adding a unique and aesthetic touch to their gardens while saving money. Most importantly, this practice helps protect the environment.

Instead of buying thick plastic gloves, you can recycle plastic bags into gloves for household chores like trash collection and handling dirty objects, thus protecting your hands and contributing to environmental conservation. This practice also helps reduce living expenses.

Plastic bags come in various colors, and you can recycle them into beautiful home decorations like a lantern for your front porch, or even turn them into animals, plants, and unique wall art, adding a personal and creative touch to your living space while reducing waste.
