Ban Gioc Waterfall is a famous tourist attraction in Cao Bang

For 10 years, Dam Ngoc Mai (born 1990, Hanoi) has always cherished the plan to return to explore Cao Bang because of its impressive natural scenery and people. And last April, she realized this dream with her small family. A 4D3N Cao Bang tour in a 4-seater car gave Mai’s family wonderful experiences.

Cao Bang is famous for tourist attractions such as Ban Gioc Waterfall, Pac Bo Cave, and Mat Than Mountain… However, on this trip, Ngoc Mai discovered more interesting things.

Ngoc Mai’s family conquered Phia Oac peak

During the 4D3N journey, her family traveled around Cao Bang from east to west, without repeating any route. She visited Phia Oac peak, Phan Thanh grass hill, Thanh Cong bamboo forest, ancient stone field, and tea hills… The pristine and peaceful beauty of the Northeast captivated Ngoc Mai.

“Cao Bang has a cool and fresh climate, with blooming plum and peach flowers and hydrangeas in spring, lush tea hills in summer, red maple forests in autumn, and floating clouds in winter… The food here is delicious, and the tourist spots are close to each other, making it very convenient. What impressed me the most about Cao Bang was its pristine and peaceful beauty,” shared Ngoc Mai.

When she was single, Ngoc Mai had traveled to many places. Even after starting a family, her passion for traveling remained unchanged. Perhaps the only difference now is that instead of traveling alone or with friends, she wants to explore and experience new places with her husband and children.

“Fortunately, my husband and I share the same hobby. Whenever I suggest going somewhere, he usually agrees immediately and joins me in enjoying the joy of the journey. Our child is now 6 years old and has 4 years of ‘experience’ wandering with us through the routes from Ha Giang to Son La, Cao Bang, and other regions,” Mai shared.

Ngoc Mai believes that through these trips, the family members will become closer. Every time they return from a trip, their thick family album gains more photos. According to her, photos kept in the album will be looked at more often, and everyone in the family will remember the happy memories they shared.

“My child may not remember going to Ha Giang at the age of 2, but when we open the album, she will remember the moments of laughing happily with the children in the mountainous region, the moment she gave them delicious moon cakes… This Cao Bang trip is the same; the beautiful memories will grow with her,” Ngoc Mai confided.
