The Violak Pass is located on National Highway 24, connecting Quang Ngai to Mang Den town in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province. The pass winds through valleys and hills at an elevation of over 1,000 meters above sea level.

After the afternoon thunderstorms, at dawn on the last days of May, the Violak Pass is covered in mist and thick clouds. The pristine mountain wilderness, the fresh and cool atmosphere, and the magical sea of clouds in the early morning give visitors a sense of tranquility when they arrive here.

Meanwhile, the Mang Den National Ecological Tourist Area in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province, has long been likened to a paradise for vacationers.

Mang Den is located at an altitude of over 1,200 meters above sea level, with a temperate climate, cool weather all year round, and an average temperature ranging from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius. The primeval forest covers more than 80% of the natural area, creating a lush and green environment.

The Mang Den ecological tourist area is home to a diverse range of rare animals and plants, as well as numerous lakes and waterfalls such as Dak Ke, Pa Sy, Lo Ba, Toong Dam, Toong Zeri, and Toong Po. This makes it an ideal destination for eco-tourism and vacationing while engaging in scientific research.

In the early morning of late May, amidst the chilly weather, visitors can stand amidst the ancient pine hills along National Highway 24 and admire the vast sea of white clouds floating in the valleys, set against the backdrop of the wild mountain wilderness.

Mang Den boasts a primeval forest covering every corner, a cool climate all year round, and a plethora of scenic lakes and waterfalls, giving visitors the impression of stepping into a “vacation paradise” during the cloud-hunting season when visiting Mang Den in Kon Plong, Kon Tum.
