“I discovered this location while searching for directions to Ho Dong Chanh on Google Maps. Intrigued, I decided to explore the area and found a beautiful, pristine stream. I immediately planned a trip with my friends to experience this hidden gem.” said Hieu, a local adventurer.

Locals refer to this spot as “Suoi Lang Hang,” named after the village it resides in – Lang Hang, in Cu Yen commune. Hieu shared that the stream is located about 30km from the center of Hanoi, and the journey there is quite convenient, with a mix of concrete and asphalt roads.

To get there, Hieu and his friends started from the gate of Thien Duong Bao Son Park (on Le Trong Tan street, An Khanh, Hoai Duc, Hanoi) and headed towards Quoc Oai on the Thang Long Boulevard. They then turned left onto Phu Quoc road and continued onto TL412B. At the intersection of Xuan Mai town, they turned left onto QL21A and then veered towards Cu Yen commune, Luong Son district, where the stream is located.

The 22-year-old described the area as spacious and serene, with large trees lining the banks, providing ample shade. The water is crystal clear and refreshing, offering a perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Hieu and his group spent half a day enjoying the surroundings, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, and partaking in activities like swimming and barbecuing. They also took the opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the scenery.

The trip cost them approximately 100,000 VND per person, covering transportation and simple meals like bread, sausages, soft drinks, and fruits. Hieu noted that by traveling by motorbike and keeping the meals inexpensive, they were able to enjoy a cost-effective yet memorable nature getaway.

As this is a natural stream and not a tourist destination, there are no services available. Hieu advised visitors to come prepared with their food, drinks, and essential personal items, and to ensure they leave no trace by taking their trash with them when they depart. He also suggested combining this trip with visits to other attractions in Luong Son district, such as Ho Dong Chanh in Nhuân Trach commune, Đong Đá Bạc in Lien Son commune, and Hang Man Nguen and Hang Khu Thuong caves in Cao Ram commune.
