Below are four outfits you should avoid buying this spring. They may look great, but they are ultimately impractical.
1. Leather Jacket
Those who favor the biker and classic American styles are undoubtedly drawn to leather jackets. However, this is not the season to sport one. At this time, you will look out of place if you step out in a leather jacket.

While a leather jacket exudes style and attitude, it is not suitable for spring weather.
Spring weather fluctuates between hot and cold extremes, but leather jackets are not designed for such variability. If you wear them in warm weather, you’ll feel stuffy, and if you wear them in cold weather, you won’t feel sufficiently insulated.
Moreover, spring often brings rain and humid conditions. Leather is susceptible to damage if it gets wet frequently, causing the adhesive to peel and the material to deteriorate.

2. Long Trench Coat
Trench coats are popular during seasonal transitions as they can optimize one’s figure and accentuate a strong aura. A moderately long design can make you feel comfortable and relaxed when walking in the wind, achieving a casual yet elegant look. However, a beautiful trench coat has many inconveniences in reality.
Since spring often brings drizzles, wearing a long coat in the rain will easily get it wet and dirty. Moreover, when it’s cold, a trench coat doesn’t provide the same warmth as a wool or down jacket. And when it’s hot, a long trench coat can feel bulky and cumbersome.

3. Long Cardigan
Long cardigans may look appealing and stylish on models, but they are impractical, especially for those who feel the cold. Wearing one in early spring can be uncomfortable as the neckline often doesn’t close entirely, leading to a chilly experience. And if you do button it up, it may not look as aesthetically pleasing.
Moreover, long cardigans are too warm for hot days and inconvenient during rainy weather. So, if you love cardigans, opt for shorter, thinner ones to layer underneath instead of wearing them as outerwear.

4. High-top Sneakers
Not only can clothing be a waste of money, but so can footwear if you opt for high-top sneakers. While many people likely own a pair of high-top canvas sneakers and find them comfortable, they lack versatility. Due to the high-top design that protects the ankles, they are not as light and comfortable as low-top shoes. Despite the high-top design intended to shield the ankle area, the canvas material doesn’t provide sufficient warmth.
In warm weather, the high-tops can make your feet feel stuffy and uncomfortable. Worst of all, high-top sneakers can make your legs look shorter and your calves appear larger. To counter this issue, you’d have to wear wide-leg pants to cover the top of the shoes.
High-top canvas sneakers are no longer in fashion and can easily expose your leg length and calf defects.
