She worked closely with the architect to conceptualize the project but had to oversee the construction herself. Despite the difficulties, she feels she’s learned a great deal and grown to love her home even more because she personally selected every detail.
Their home is designed in a Nordic style, blending modernity with a close connection to nature. Inspired by her travels and personal preferences, the house maximizes functionality, featuring numerous photo-worthy spots and seamless integration with the outdoors. Inside, she chose oak wood, natural stone, and glass to create a cozy yet airy atmosphere.
A standout feature of the home is the three-story spiral staircase, complemented by a chandelier inspired by shimmering raindrops. She cherishes the natural view through the large glass windows, believing no painting could rival its beauty.
As a mother of four, she built this home with love and passion. However, she expresses regret about not being able to live there full-time yet, as her youngest child is still very young. “This house is not just a home but a heart, a true sanctuary for our family. The kids love coming here whenever they can. It’s heartwarming that no matter where they go or what they do, they always say, ‘I love our home the most.’
The house has spaces to soothe and heal each family member. My husband enjoys tea, so there’s a meditation corner for him. I love reading, so there’s a large bookshelf.
