Why should you put stones in the dryer?

Instead of using an iron every time you want to remove wrinkled clothes from the wardrobe, why not prepare some simple but effective steps in advance? Users just need to put some stones in the dryer and run a drying cycle to help eliminate wrinkles on the clothes.

This laundry trick may sound quirky but when you think about it, the process does make sense. By putting stones in the dryer and immediately turning on the heat, the stones will essentially create steam inside the dryer. Both the moisture and heat help eliminate wrinkles.

To do this, users only need a few ice cubes (not too many as it may wet the clothes). Additionally, users should also run a short cycle instead of completely drying their laundry.

Using stones in the dryer is basically similar to another trick of using a damp towel. Just dampen (not soak) a clean towel, then toss it in with the laundry in the dryer. Like ice cubes, the towel will create steam and flatten wrinkles.

In general, don’t take too much time if you accidentally leave your laundry in the dryer for too long. Just a few stones and some drying, everything can be easily resolved.
