To get rid of them, most people resort to insect sprays, but it is worth mentioning that those sprays contain harmful chemicals to health. The following tips can help you safely repel cockroaches and mosquitoes
Orange peels. After eating oranges, do not throw away the peels. Dry them and then place them in a corner of the room where flies and mosquitoes inhabit and burn them. The smoke from orange peels is very effective in killing mosquitoes as well as eliminating unpleasant smells, musty odors in the room.
Sugar water. Take a plastic or iron box with a wide mouth, put 3 spoons of sugar and 1 cup of water in it, dilute it to make a sweet bait for cockroaches. Once the cockroaches smell the sugar, they will automatically come closer and fall into the water, dying.
Cucumber. Cockroaches are afraid of the smell of cucumbers, so cut cucumber slices and place them in the places where cockroaches usually dwell, they will immediately find a way to disperse. Change the cucumber every few days. If constantly harassed by this smell, the cockroaches will leave and not come back.
Onion. In addition to cucumbers, onions are also enemy of cockroaches. Therefore, housewives should quickly apply this method.
Beer. Use empty bottles or jars, clean them, add 3 – 5 ml of sugar water or beer inside and place them in areas where flies and mosquitoes usually inhabit. Mosquitoes will automatically fly and fall into the bottle and die before they can react.
