Later, Ngoc Lan had a meeting with the media to clarify the recent controversy related to her insurance. She talked about being criticized after a livestream: “I have been in the art industry for 20 years. I am aware that the media always has two opinions, agreeing and disagreeing with me. Receiving feedback that doesn’t match my thoughts is natural. However, some untrustworthy sources cut the livestream and produced inaccurate headlines, causing the conflict to escalate. I received criticism, humiliation, and attacks in my posts for the brand I represent, and even worse, attacks on my family members. My mother also received many threats.”

“I just want my rights to be ensured, I don’t want the story to be blown out of proportion. That’s why I decided to maintain the highest insurance package and exclude products that are not in my needs, because my biggest purpose is to provide a bright future for my son”, the actress shared.

Regarding the reason for continuing the insurance with this company after the controversies, Ngoc Lan explained: “In my livestream, everyone could see that I’ve never spoken ill of the insurance. I also never had the intention to terminate or withdraw my insurance, because my purpose is to take care of my child’s future. I asked the company to draft a new contract, remove products that are not in my needs, and continue the contract.”
