Use onions

Onions are an effective solution to repel geckos. You just need to peel and cut the onions into small pieces. Place the onions on small plates and place them in the corners where geckos often pass by or stay. The pungent smell of onions will scare geckos away.

Use coffee grounds and cigarette butts

Mix damp coffee grounds with a little cigarette butts. Squeeze them into small balls and place them where geckos build their nests or where they often pass by, and wait for the results.

Use garlic

Just like onions, garlic has a distinctive smell that scares many reptiles and insects. You can use garlic and place it in areas where geckos often stay or pass by to drive them away.
