Cleaning a kettle with Coca-Cola
A kettle that has been used for a long time will develop a layer of residue inside. Regular cleaning may not be able to completely remove this residue. To easily remove the kettle residue, you can use Coca-Cola (or any other carbonated drink available at home). Simply pour a can of coca into the kettle, soak for at least 1 hour, or you can boil it.

Cleaning rust from metal
Metal utensils in general, and iron in particular, tend to develop rust after prolonged use. To remove rust stains and restore the shine of your utensils, you can use Coca-Cola. Soak the items in Coca-Cola for a few minutes. The acid in Coca-Cola will quickly dissolve the rust.
Removing gum stuck in hair
If you accidentally get gum stuck in your hair, you can use Coca-Cola to deal with it. Dip the affected hair into a cup of Coca-Cola and wait for a few minutes. Then, you will see the gum no longer sticking like before and you can easily remove it from your hair.
If gum sticks to your clothes or shoes, you can also use Coca-Cola to clean it. Pour Coca-Cola directly onto the gum and wait for a few minutes before removing the gum.
Killing snails
You can use Coca-Cola as a snail killer. Place a bowl of Coca-Cola in your garden to attract snails and other types of mollusks. The scent of Coca-Cola will lure these creatures into the trap and they won’t be able to escape.
Polishing old jewelry
For tarnished silver jewelry, you can soak them in Coca-Cola for a few minutes. Then, simply rinse with clean water. Coca-Cola will help remove dirt and restore the shiny appearance of your jewelry.
