Every time you go to the supermarket to buy eggs, you will see that the eggs are placed in a mesh to make it more convenient to carry. Usually, when you bring them home, people will put the eggs in the refrigerator for storage and throw away this mesh. In fact, this mesh has many useful purposes. Today, we will share with you some tips to recycle these mesh bags. Let’s find out how to do it through the article below!

1. Prevent Drainage Blockages

When taking a shower, do you often encounter the problem of clogged drains, where the water doesn’t flow smoothly? Looking closely, 80% of the “culprits” are hair, and dealing with them can be quite troublesome. At this time, you can use the mesh bags for eggs, placing them under the floor drain cover. This mesh bag not only serves the purpose of filtering and reducing blockages effectively, but it also prevents small insects from crawling up from the drain into the bathroom. Thanks to this, you will never have to worry about clogged drains again.

2. Prevent Soap Slippage

Wet soap has a tendency to slip and slide. When washing hands with soap, due to its smooth surface, it often falls from your hand to the ground. In reality, if the soap is wrapped in a mesh bag, this problem can be solved. The mesh bag placed on the soap not only prevents slipping but also creates foam easily. When not in use, you can hang the soap bag on the wall for easy storage and to keep the soap dry.

3. Assist in Photography

Wrapping the outside of your phone with a mesh bag will create an additional layer of virtual filter when taking photos. The photos will have a dreamy and sparkling beauty.

4. Create Foam

When using face wash, if you apply it directly to your face, it can damage your skin surface. At this time, you can use the mesh bag for eggs to wash your face. When squeezing the face wash onto the mesh bag, you will see foam being easily created. Then, you can use this foam to apply evenly on your face, not only to clean but also to gently protect your skin.

5. Wash Dishes and Utensils

Many people have the habit of directly applying dishwashing detergent to plates and utensils. In fact, doing so is unscientific and can cause the detergent to remain on the dishes, which is harmful to health. At this time, you can squeeze a few drops of dishwashing liquid into the mesh bag to create foam, and then use it to scrub the dishes and utensils. With this method, after rinsing with clean water, there will be no chemical residue on the tableware, and you can use them with peace of mind.

6. Make Bean Sprouts

Making bean sprouts will become much faster, simpler, and cleaner when using mesh bags. The sprouts made using this method will also be white and plumper compared to other methods.

How to make:

Step 1: Prepare a pot of warm water, then soak the beans in it for about 8 hours or overnight.
After soaking, take the beans out and rinse them to remove the yellow water, as well as any impurities or discolored beans.

Step 2: Put the beans into a mesh bag. Depending on the size of the bag, add an appropriate amount of beans. For a medium-sized mesh bag, put in a handful of beans. Then, use the accompanying plastic piece to tightly seal the mouth of the bag.

Use a pot and place the bags with the bean sprouts in it, making sure not to stack them on top of each other. Cover with a colander or plate. Place the pot in a dark place. After about 10 to 12 hours, the sprouts will start to soak up water.

Step 3: Let the sprouts drink water

Remove the cover, pour clean water directly into the pot to fully submerge the beans. Soak for about 10 minutes, then drain the water. Wait until the sprouts have drained all the water and the bottom of the pot is completely dry, then you can put the bag back into the pot, cover it, and place it back in a dark corner. Leaving water at the bottom will make the sprouts soggy. Only water the sprouts twice a day, in the morning and evening.

After 1-2 days, the beans will sprout strongly. At this point, you can loosen the mouth of the bag slightly to accommodate the growth of the sprouts. Don’t tighten it too much, as it will prevent the sprouts from growing, but don’t leave it too loose either, as it can make the sprouts thin and produce too many roots.

Step 4: Harvest the sprouts

With this method, after about 4 days, you can harvest the sprouts.
