Using salt
Sprinkle salt over the burnt area
Whenever a pot or pan gets burnt, you just need to sprinkle salt over the burnt area. Then, pour nearly full of water into the pan or pot and bring it to a boil for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, lift the pot or pan off the stove and pour out the water. Using this method ensures that the burnt residues on the pot or pan are gently cleaned without scrubbing, thus saving time.
Using dishwashing liquid
Pour a little dishwashing liquid into the bottom of the pot, fill it with water and bring it to a boil. Then let it sit overnight without scrubbing.
The next morning, simply shake the pot or pan gently and you will see all the burnt black residues being easily removed. The pot or pan will regain its shiny appearance as if it were just bought.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to let it sit overnight, you can also boil dishwashing liquid or soap in the burnt pot or pan for about 10 minutes. This method is equally effective and does not require scrubbing.
Using vinegar
Boil a small amount of water and vinegar in the burnt pot or pan. When the mixture boils, remove the lid and let it sit for a few minutes. The burnt layer will automatically peel off, and the steam of water and vinegar will help deodorize your kitchen.
Another way to clean burnt pots and pans is to use vinegar combined with salt. Soak the mixture of salt and vinegar in the pot or pan for 10 – 15 minutes, then use a scrubbing pad to clean. The pot or pan will immediately regain its shine.
