– Watercress

– Vermicelli: 1 small bundle

Garlic

– Seasonings: 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of chili oil, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil

2. Steps to Make Watercress Mixed Vermicelli

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients

– After buying watercress, remove the leaves, yellowed leaves, and cut off the old stems, then wash them. Because watercress is a vegetable that grows close to the ground, it can stick to a lot of mud, dirt, and dust. You need to soak it thoroughly so that the vegetables are clean and not gritty. After washing, scoop out the watercress and let it drain.

– Peel the garlic, wash it, and finely chop it.

Step 2: Blanch the vermicelli and watercress

– Place a pot on the stove, add water, and bring it to a boil. When the water in the pot has boiled, add the vermicelli and blanch it for about 3 minutes until it becomes tender, then remove it.

– Bring another pot of water to a boil, then add the watercress and cook it until tender. Because watercress is a juicy and quick-cooking vegetable, you don’t need to cook it for too long.

– Put the blanched watercress and vermicelli in a large bowl, then pour the dressing over it. Use chopsticks to mix well so that the watercress and vermicelli absorb the seasonings.
