Rose

Rose petals contain many vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin B, K, E,… They have the ability to reduce acne, fade dark spots, prevent inflammation of pores, and provide antioxidant effects. That’s why roses are often used in cosmetics.

To steam your face with roses, you need to use about 3 fresh rose petals, separate each petal, and remove any crushed or withered petals. Then, wash them thoroughly.

Pour 1.5 liters of boiling water and 1.5 liters of cold water into a basin, then add the rose petals. Use your hand to check the water temperature.

Press your face about 20 to 30cm away from the basin, then tightly wrap your head and the basin with a towel so that the steam does not escape. Relax slowly for about 20 minutes.

Wait for 15 minutes for the pores to shrink, then rinse your face with cold water.

Lemongrass and Lemon

Thanks to its high content of vitamin C and citric acid, lemons are often used in beauty treatments to support acne treatment, exfoliate dead skin cells, improve skin tone, and reduce dark spots.

Lemongrass contains a lot of essential oils and antioxidant substances, which have antibacterial properties, prevent aging and wrinkles. Moreover, lemongrass can effectively remove cystic acne and pustules.

To steam your face with lemongrass and lemon, crush 5-6 lemongrass stalks and slice a lemon (leave the peel on because it is good and has a gentle fragrance).

Then, put them all in a pot, add 1 liter of water and 1 tablespoon of salt. Boil the mixture and pour it into a basin, let it cool for 5-10 minutes.
