Apply rosemary oil to your scalp 2-3 times a week.
Rosemary oil can promote scalp circulation and potentially support hair growth. It’s recommended due to its ability to increase blood flow to the scalp, nourishing hair follicles, and reducing inflammation caused by DHT binding to hair follicles in those experiencing hair loss due to increased androgen hormones.
Apply 6-10 drops of rosemary oil to the affected area of the scalp. This should be enough to cover the area around your hair. Then, massage it into your hair.
It’s suggested to add rosemary oil to both your shampoo and conditioner. Use it once a day, in the evening, for thin hair areas. Never apply rosemary essential oil directly to the scalp; it must be diluted in a carrier oil.
Add Castor Oil
Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that can improve scalp health and promote hair growth. Additionally, castor oil is rich in omega-9 fatty acids, essential for healthy hair.
Choose high-quality castor oil, free from additives or impurities. Use it sparingly, as a little goes a long way. You can apply a small amount of castor oil to your scalp and massage it in, leaving it on for 30 minutes to a few hours before shampooing.
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender essential oil has a pleasant aroma, calming and relaxing properties, antibacterial qualities, and the potential to promote hair growth. To use this oil, mix a few drops of lavender essential oil with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, and apply it to your scalp. Leave it on for about 10 minutes, then shampoo as usual.
Additionally, ensure your diet is rich in vitamins and minerals. While using these oils, pay attention to your diet. Consider consuming pumpkin seeds as they are packed with nutrients, minerals, and vitamins that offer multiple benefits. As an energy-rich food, pumpkin seeds are an excellent source of iron, potassium, magnesium, sodium, copper, zinc, and manganese. If you’re experiencing hair and scalp issues like dandruff, include pumpkin seeds in your diet.
Pumpkin seed oil is rich in phytosterols, which promote hair growth by inhibiting enzymes and hormones that cause hair loss. If you have dry, curly, or colored-treated hair, apply pumpkin seed oil to your hair once a week or 2-3 times a month.
