Hồ Quang Hiếu’s Wife Opens Up Before Childbirth
On October 29, Tuệ Như, the wife of singer Hồ Quang Hiếu, announced her pregnancy with a video and the caption, “Baby is coming.” The couple, who tied the knot over a year ago, are now expecting their first child together, with the singer becoming a father at the age of 41.
Hồ Quang Hiếu and Tuệ Như have been married for over a year but have not yet held a wedding ceremony. When asked about this, Hồ Quang Hiếu shared that they had initially planned to have a child first and then organize a wedding: “Some may think we’re rushing things, but we’re both mature and thoughtful in our decisions. I’m not getting any younger, and I don’t want to live a lonely life. Having a child was always part of our plan, and we wanted our child to be old enough to witness our wedding day and share in our happiness.”
The couple had previously planned to get married while also trying for a baby. Tuệ Như, whose sisters-in-law already have children, expressed that her mother-in-law was especially eager for a grandchild: “I didn’t feel any pressure, but to be honest, my husband is already at an older age, so having a child sooner rather than later made sense. After giving birth and getting our family life settled, I plan to return to modeling and acting. I understand my husband’s desire to have a child, as I’ve put myself in his shoes.”
Hồ Quang Hiếu shared his own thoughts on their whirlwind romance: “We got married just a few days after meeting; I didn’t want to waste any time. My wife may be younger, but she’s very mature. She discussed it with her mother beforehand and made the decision herself. My family was surprised when I broke the news, but I wasn’t worried because I was being truthful. I then went to my in-laws to ask for their blessing for our wedding.”
