1. Viettel credit method via USSD

Applicable conditions

To be able to use USSD code for credit, you need to meet the following conditions:

• Your Viettel subscription is active in both directions and has been activated for at least 60 days from the activation date to the credit date.
• The remaining amount in the main account must be less than 5,000 VND.
• For each card reload, your subscription is only allowed to credit once. If you want to credit again, you must pay off the debt from the previous time.

Credit syntax

Open the phone’s keyboard > Press *911# > Press Call/OK.

Immediately, you will receive an SMS notification adding 10,000 VND to your account. When you top up your subscription, the system will automatically deduct 11,500 VND including 10,000 VND you have credited and 1,500 VND service fee.

This method is often applied by many people because it can be done quickly and can be performed on both smartphones and feature phones. However, each time only allows a credit of 10,000 VND. If you want to credit more, please follow the methods below.

2. Viettel credit method via 9118

In case you have used up the credit amount from the previous time but have not paid the old debt and want to credit again, you can send a message according to the syntax UT to 9118. Right after that, the system will consider and allow you to credit an amount ranging from 5,000 VND to 50,000 VND depending on your usage needs.

3. Viettel credit method via 5511

This is the Xtime credit service that allows Viettel subscribers to credit from 5,000 VND to 50,000 VND when the main account is out of money.

Applicable conditions

• The subscription has been active for 90 days and the total consumption in the last 3 months is at least 150,000 VND.
• No debt to Viettel.
• The subscriber must pay for the service in the next reload and bear the service fee of 15% of the credited amount.

Credit syntax

You can apply one of the two syntaxes below:

• Compose XT and send to 5511.
• Or press *511# > Press CALL/OK.

4. Viettel credit method via 511

This method is also very simple, you just need to press the syntax *511# and press CALL/OK then follow the instructions given by the operator.

In addition, when your subscription account has less than 1,000 VND or the subscription has a calling transaction but cannot be made due to insufficient balance, Viettel’s 511 switchboard will send a message inviting to credit call minutes with the content as shown in the figure below. If you need to call someone, you can credit the call minutes directly without crediting money.

5. Viettel credit method via My Viettel app

My Viettel is an application released by Viettel for customers using Viettel subscriptions. Through this application, you can top up your phone, buy top-up cards, transfer money, credit money, check charges, etc. very conveniently. However, you need to have a smartphone to install the app and the device must have an Internet connection to use it.

To credit money via the My Viettel app, you do the following:

Step 1: Open the app and log into your My Viettel account.

Step 2: In the Payment utilities section, you select Credit money then select the amount you want to credit and press Continue.

• Depending on the conditions of each subscription, you will be allowed to select different credit amounts from 5,000 VND to 80,000 VND.
