Here are some tips to prevent foot pain when wearing high heels, ladies, take note!
1. Choose the right shoe size
One of the biggest mistakes women make is choosing shoes that don’t fit their feet. When it comes to high heels, the shoe size must be absolutely correct.
Foot size can change over the years, with fluctuations in body weight, and especially after having children. When buying shoes, it’s best to measure the width and length of your feet to get the perfect fit.
Some people also believe that “it’s better to have bigger shoes than smaller ones”, so they always choose shoes that are slightly larger than their feet.
This makes walking more difficult, and the shoes will eventually loosen and become even wider than your feet.

2. Use thick insoles
A pair of high heels will be more comfortable if you add a soft insole, especially for shoes made of stiff materials.
Flat shoes are a sensible choice, or if you don’t like the thick, stiff soles of high heels, you can opt for gel-filled shoes or soft leather shoes with thin, elegant heels.
3. Avoid stiff shoes
Wooden insoles tend to cause foot pain when worn for extended periods as they are quite heavy and stiff, and tend to slip.
Therefore, you can use a soft rubber insole to reduce pain and make these shoes less cumbersome if you really need to wear them.

4. Stay away from thin soles
Thin soles will cause pain in the ball of your foot, especially near your toes, as the weight of your body is concentrated in this area when wearing high heels.
Choose high heels with thick, soft soles that provide a comfortable feeling for your feet.
5. Opt for secure straps
Always go for a design with secure straps if you don’t want your shoes to constantly slip off your feet due to instability.
