The House of Corn Màng Mủ boasts an impressive interior that provides a stunning backdrop for photographs. After each corn harvest, the local people of this highland region have a tradition of hanging corn to store as food. So, when you travel to the Northwest, you’ll often see rows of golden corn hanging under the porches of the highland people’s homes.

However, not all visitors know about this unique corn house. That’s because it’s located in Mồ Dề commune, about 4km from the district center of Mù Cang Chải.

Hờ Thị Mảy, a local tour guide, shared that to get to the corn house, you can rent a motorbike or hire a local guide to take you there. The cost is quite low, and it’s often combined with visits to other attractions around Mù Cang Chải, such as exploring Khau Phạ Pass or admiring the rice terraces at Mâm Xôi Hill and Móng Ngưa Hill.
