Rural School Celebrates First-Ever Perfect Score Valedictorian

Reflecting on Diễm My’s remarkable achievement, Vice Principal Hoàng Ngọc Sơn shared that the entire school community—administrators, teachers, and students alike—is overjoyed and proud. This marks the first time the school has produced a valedictorian in the B00 group with a perfect score of 30.
“Throughout her time at school, Diễm My consistently excelled, earning ‘Outstanding Student’ honors annually. Her grades were consistently above 9, with many subjects scoring a perfect 10. In the 2025-2026 academic year, she won second place in the provincial Biology competition,” Vice Principal Hoàng Ngọc Sơn proudly shared about his student.

Vice Principal Sơn further highlighted that beyond academics, Diễm My actively participates in extracurricular activities and serves as an energetic study group leader.
“Aside from her studies, Diễm My engages in provincial Science and Technology competitions and STEM education activities. She’s not only academically gifted but also dynamic in school initiatives. Her teachers admire her politeness, humility, ambition, and sense of responsibility toward her peers,” Vice Principal Sơn added.
Aspiring to Become a Doctor…
In a phone interview, Diễm My expressed her overwhelming joy and pride upon learning she had become the B00 group valedictorian. Throughout her academic journey, she has been supported by her family, teachers, and friends—a driving force that has fueled her confidence.
“After the exam, I estimated my score would be high, but on July 1st, when I saw the official results, I was overjoyed and finally believed I’d achieved a perfect 30,” Diễm My shared happily.

Before the official results, the valedictorian admitted to feeling anxious. Now, with the pressure lifted, she has shared her joy with her family, teachers, friends, and everyone around her.
Raised in a modest family—her father a construction worker and her mother a farmer—Diễm My has always been determined to excel academically. She aims to set an example for her younger siblings—a sister in 8th grade and a brother in 2nd grade—while pursuing her own dreams.
“I aspire to become a doctor. I plan to study medicine and have set my first choice as Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy,” Diễm My revealed.
Her dream of becoming a doctor began in middle school, inspired by a meaningful experience. By high school, her determination grew stronger, leading her to choose the B group and pursue her medical aspirations.
Sharing her secret to achieving perfect scores in all three subjects, Diễm My emphasized balanced time management, combining study with leisure. During her final preparation phase, she practiced one exam per subject daily, maintaining a relaxed mindset for the exams.

“My greatest secret is maintaining a passion for learning, balancing study with leisure, and participating in extracurricular activities to develop soft skills. I’m also fortunate to have the support of my family, teachers, and friends throughout my journey,” Diễm My reflected.
