1 plastic bottle
1 short piece of string
Scissors
Knife
Steps to follow:
Step 1. Use the scissors to cut the top part of the plastic bottle as shown in the image below.
Step 2. Next, use the knife to make 2 evenly spaced holes on the bottle cap.
Step 3. Then, take the prepared piece of string and thread it through the middle of the pot scrubber as shown in the image below.
Step 4. Next, attach the pot scrubber to the cut top part of the plastic bottle. Take one end of the string and thread it through one of the holes on the cap, and do the same for the other end of the string and the other hole.
Step 5. Tighten and tie the ends of the string to secure the pot scrubber in place inside the plastic bottle top. Then tie a knot at both ends of the string to create a handle-like strap.
Now you have an easier way to use this pot scrubber! When you need to scrub, simply hold onto the plastic bottle top instead of directly gripping the pot scrubber. This will provide better protection for your hands. Additionally, the handle strap made from the string will allow you to hang the pot scrubber easily and neatly. Convenient, isn’t it?!
After using for a while, it’s recommended to clean the steel scrubber. The process is simple. Just place the steel scrubber over a flame. The fire will burn off the dirt and grease accumulated on the steel scrubber. Then, dip the steel scrubber into a bowl of water to rinse off the remaining dirt.
Of course, after using for a long period of time, you should replace the steel scrubber with a new one.
With the old steel scrubber, you can thread a string through it and tie it to the drain cover in the bathroom. Then insert the steel scrubber into the drain hole.
