Every March, Ta Ma stream (Ha Ri village, Vinh Hiep commune, Vinh Thanh district, Binh Dinh) dons a vibrant cloak as the wild orchid flowers bloom.

Located about 7 km from the center of Vinh Thanh town, Ta Ma stream has become an attractive destination for nature lovers in recent years due to its pristine water flowing year-round. The scenery here is especially breathtaking during the orchid season.

The wild orchids bloom in clusters, covering the tree canopies with vibrant orange and red hues, and filling the air with their subtle fragrance. This creates a peaceful, cool, and refreshing natural atmosphere.

Under the vibrant flower canopies, the crystal clear stream babbles along, combining with the fresh air to offer a rare sense of tranquility and peace.

From early morning to late afternoon, visitors flock to Ta Ma stream to admire the beauty of the wild orchids. Many families and groups of friends bring food and drinks to picnic under the ancient orchid trees, enjoying the natural surroundings.

In addition, many nature photographers and enthusiasts also come here to capture the impressive moments offered by this floral spectacle.

Mr. Huynh Duc Bao, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Thanh district, shared: ‘Thanks to favorable weather conditions this year, the wild orchids are in fuller bloom compared to last year, attracting a large number of visitors. On peak days, thousands of people visit, creating a bustling yet still pristine and peaceful atmosphere.’

Many families bring food and drinks to enjoy along the banks of the stream, under the orchid trees. Ta Ma stream is about 80 km from Quy Nhon city, so it is quite popular with tourists who combine their visit with a tour of the city’s sights.

Ms. Hoang Kim Hieu from Gia Lai province shared: ‘I am captivated by the pristine beauty of this place on my first visit here. I love it.’ Mr. Tran Van Son, a YouTuber, said, ‘I came here to film and photograph the blooming wild orchids at Ta Ma stream this year to promote Vinh Thanh district’s tourism and attract more visitors.’

Visitors to Binh Dinh this month can also attend the wild orchid festival, which will take place on March 22-23 in Vinh Hiep commune, Vinh Thanh district.
